Congratulations to our client, Save The Children!
We are thrilled that Save the Children have taken home two bronze awards at the Learning Technologies Awards 2020. The ceremony, which took place on Wednesday 18th November, was delivered as an online awards evening and can be viewed in full here.
Save The Children were honoured for their work on the FIELD programme which covers Staff Care, Safeguarding and Equality, and Diversity and Inclusion. Their well-deserved awards were for the categories of Best Online Learning Distance Programme and Excellence in the Design of Learning Content.
We are proud to have been part of this highly successful project, having translated three pathways of the FIELD programme.
Talking about the service that Capita Translation and interpreting have delivered on this project, Save the Children said:
Capita translated three pathways comprising of 14 modules and a wide range of documents into Arabic. They delivered on time and took special consideration to ensure document design features were maintained and provided numerous options for cosmetic elements such as font and voiceover. Feedback on the translation has been very positive from over 700 learners since the Arabic pathways were launched.
Capita Translation and interpreting have worked with Save the Children for two years now on their Humanitarian projects in a number of languages. This was the first very large, major project which was created in Rise and Adapt and is stored on Kaya, the client’s global online learning platform, which we went on to translate into Arabic. We provided a full 360 degree service to Save the Children, including translation, the recreation of the course in Storyline (which supports Arabic), in-context review and client review. We are extremely pleased that it has been so well received by both our client and their learners.
