We are thrilled to announce that we have opened an office in New York City, in order to be closer to our US customers, and to be able to better serve their localization needs.
Our new office can be found at 85 Broad Street, right in the heart of the New York financial district and a stone’s throw away from the New York Stock Exchange in Lower Manhattan.
We create better outcomes by breaking down language barriers in global businesses, healthcare, emergency services and other government services.
Our translation & interpreting services help everyone from lawyers, healthcare professionals, business leaders and marketers to communicate with anyone, anywhere, in any language.
We work across numerous industries, covering a range of multilingual specialisms, including legal, website, financial, manufacturing, technical and e-Learning.
Our localization projects in the US already includes a major humanitarian and international organization, who rely on translation to communicate with volunteers, refugees and local authorities on a global scale.
We also work with Encyclopedia Britannica, facilitating multilingual training & developing localized learning resources for students in the UAE, Oman and Egypt.
Our work with Advanced Micro Devices has involved translating global marketing campaigns into 19 languages daily, allowing AMD to communicate with customers globally.
As part of the move, some of our UK team are relocating, moving across the pond to New York City.
Alicia von Achten, Account Development Manager – USA, says:
“I have spent a lot of time travelling between the UK and the US over the last four years and I’m looking forward to calling it home. The move will come with all sorts of challenges, but I’m excited to see what unfolds by immersing myself into the New York world of commerce and the fast-paced environment that it offers. More than anything I am looking forward to learning and being submerged in a thriving business culture and being surrounded by new people who will provide different visions and inspiration – I am a great believer in ‘the best is yet to come’ and I think that is very apt for our move to the Big Apple.”
Tom Shaw, VP of US & Language Solutions, says:
“These are exciting times for Capita TI as we add local support to our existing US clients and look to grow our presence in New York and the US. I’m really looking forward to the challenge – not only on a business level, but personally this is a great opportunity to experience life in such an incredible city. I’m confident that we have the right technology-lead solutions and people to delight our clients in the US – the team can’t wait to get stuck in!”
