Scotland, and in particular Glasgow, is once again the focus for the international energy arena. On 6th and 7th May 2015, the All Energy exhibition is taking place at the SECC. This is the UK’s largest renewable energy show, and it is shaping up to be an exciting and informative few days.
Capita Translation and Interpreting (Capita TI) has a dedicated energy team, and we are delighted to be exhibiting at the event this year. We are looking forward to catching up with our existing clients and of course meeting new people and finding out more about this dynamic industry.
We also hope to have time to take in some of the conference presentations, particularly those on tidal and off-shore wind energy, as these will no doubt continue to add valuable revenue to the industry in the coming months.
The renewables industry is a growing sector, and in 2010/11, the UK renewables industry was worth £12.5 billion. The Renewable Energy Association estimates that this value will increase to around £60 billion by 2020. This may seem like an ambitious growth plan, but with plans in place to invest heavily in new skills and technology – this goal is more than achievable.
Driving efficiency through innovation and technology is where Capita TI can assist. Whether this means opening new global offices in the Far East, carrying out exploratory projects in South America, or harnessing the skills of an international work force – we can help.
Come along to stand M15 at All Energy and we will be delighted to discuss how the increasingly international arena could prove invaluable for your business and how we can assist in ensuring your longevity and success in this crucial industry.
We will also be hosting our “infamous” #CapitaBuzz challenge – great fun and a great prize – so do stop and say hello!
