As the remote interpreting needs of our customers continue increasing, Capita has identified a wider requirement for interpreting services to be available via many of the most commonly used collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams, Skype, Zoom or BlueJeans.
Our customers are transforming traditional on-premise training sessions or client events into webinars, as well as now having international meetings remotely. This means there is an additional requirement to have interpreters connecting remotely, and we have responded to this demand.
LiveLINK customers can now access a new service that allows them to book an interpreter for a pre-determined length of time and to connect via the customer’s video conferencing system.
Those customers using Zoom will be able to invite the interpreter via the Simultaneous Interpretation option, while Capita has developed additional processes to support other platforms such as MS Skype or MS Teams.
